Geise, a longtime Republican from Augusta, filed for U.S. Senate as a Libertarian March 18 and said she was withdrawing from the race May 15. A former Montana GOP party chair, she previously represented a Great Falls district in the Legislature and has served on the Lewis and Clark County Commission since 2013.
