Skees, 53, served four terms in the Montana House of Representatives representing the Kalispell area.

During his tenure in the Legislature, Skees chaired the Energy and Telecommunications Interim Committee and the House Energy, Technology and Federal Relations Committee. He is a member of the Flathead Republicans.

Skees received an associate degree from Seminole Community College and attended the University of Central Florida. Skees’ professional experience includes management positions in the tourism, construction and postal service industries.

Skees lives in Kalispell with his wife, Ronalee. He has three children and five grandchildren.
